Diamonds Are Not Just A Girl’s Best Friend!

In our ongoing relationship with the State of Maryland we have completed our third large scale capital improvements visualization.  This particular project captures the complete reconfiguration of the I270 and Buckeystown Pike intersection in Fredrick MD.

This animation addresses the State’s main concern which was demonstrating successful implementation of the first partial diverging diamond interchange used in the State of Maryland. We utilized traffic simulations and reconstruction of the entire existing and modified road system to accomplish their goal. 

It was our pleasure to work on this project and be a productive partner to MDOT/SHA and our friends at Integrated Design.
