Often reality is what you make it.

Revel Motion Design was challenged with creating a huge white board in a UMD classroom. We worked with the client to make sure green screen and tracking markers were available in all the shots with our talent. In this particular case, several animators over several weeks hand drew images to make them look like white board sketches, some animated some stationary.

First the scenes had to be match moved using 3D tracking software to integrate a larger than life white board, at extremely difficult angles, into our source footage. Once the scenes were locked down and roto was completed, all hand drawn elements were inserted into the scenes. The result was a massive white board populated with tons of drawings coming to life.

This project, though challenging, was incredibly fulfilling for our crew.
